Turky On The Loose

The place is tiny, only seating for 2 but that was fine by me. Trust. You'd want the food, to go! My fiance found the place on IG and we drove 40m to try them and it was so worth it! We got 2 pineapple teas, 2 legs (jerk and Nashville hot) rice and 2 orders of green beans and everything was AMAZING. The meat was literally falling off the bone. This place has been on our food list for a while. Yes, we have a list of food places to visit . Anyways we decided to try turkey on the loose for lunch today and I’m so glad we did. We had the junky leg, junky seafood leg, green beans, sweet potato corn muffin, and strawberry cake. The turkey legs are smoked to perfection!! They are flavorful and have just the right amount of spice. The green beans are delicious! That corn muffin The cake? Omggg, just get it. Overall, I give a 10/10 from the service to the food. We will absolutely be back. PS-This is more of a takeout establishment. They do not take phone orders. Orders are fulfilled in under 15 mins. Parking lot is not the biggest so get there early.

I took some time and searched through social media, found this spot in one of the comments, got in the car and arrived around 7:30pm (They close at 8pm) - The team was slowly finishing up for the day but we were still being serviced without issues. Driving home the smell of the food got us already excited but once we opened the boxes (secure and dry bag!) there was literally no disappointment. Very flavorful, the turkey meat is falling off the bone, the sweet potato grits (something I never had before and sure will remember for the rest of my life), the green beans and baked beans, even the rice was yummy, it all was really tasty! SPICY & GOOD! I'm from Louisiana and I love spicy food! When I tell you the turkey on the loose rice is just like Louisiana dirty rice with a kick! And the Mango Habenaro Turkey Leg did not disappoint! I loved my food and will definitely be back to try something different! Keep up the good work!

EXCELLENT customer service. The Turkey Leg and baked beans were The flavor for both was AMAZING. I will definitely be returning as well as referring my friends and family. The owner was so Nice and Friendly !!!!

I placed my order online and when I got there they explained to me that the wings I ordered was for Wednesdays ONLY. I was unsure on what to get as was my first time eating here. She helped me pick which flavor I wanted on the leg I got in substitution. I got Sweet Heat & Jammin Jerk and they both were Amazing!! The sides were exactly as described “Bustin” they seasoned and turkey is juicy with nice Smokey flavor.

Who drives 2 hours from the country because they see videos of meat falling off the bone of Turkey legs... we do; my wife and I do. Actually me because I kept driving. Look at my outfit... we were going to only locate one place and ended up on the southside ordering Turkey. So, I put on my calendar strategic future dates like I do my vacations and doctor appointments. See yall soon. I wear my good shoes next time.

NOW I am about to BRAG on this place..The food is always GOOD. I order every weekend and sometimes during the week and the owners are very professional and they make sure my food is prepared upon my arrival so it will not be cold. Anyone that has not tried this place you are MISSING OUT. Glad I got 2 meals yesterday so I can enjoy my second meal today...I can’t wait to order next weekend and the sweet potatoes corn muffins are so good.
